We would like to congratulate Swperbox, who have been awarded the Social Enterprise Start Up of the year at the Wales Start Up Awards 2021. It was such an honour to be named as a finalist, along with Mubo and Prom Ally CIC, and we would encourage you to find out more about these fantastic businesses who all have wonderful social missions at their heart.
We are proud of the contribution we have made to the primary care community in Wales over the last year and to have this acknowledged through being named a finalist is testament to the hard work of our team and the support of the practices, clusters and Health Boards we have had the privilege of working with. We pay special tribute to the team at Swansea University Medical School, in particular the Primary Care Academy students, who enabled us to do such purposeful and rewarding work, despite the threat of the pandemic. We aim to build on this success to continue to shine a light on the efforts of our colleagues in general practice, pharmacy, dentistry and optometry, who have been and continue to work in service to their communities, despite unprecedented pressures and challenges.
